Protect Bois, a wood-sector company created in December 2025 and led by Steven Ferreira Garcia, has moved its headquarters from Saint-Doulchard to Saint-Martin-d’Auxigny, a town in France’s Cher department north of Bourges.
The company is still in its earliest days. Official records from France’s INSEE and INPI list Protect Bois as registered on December 3, 2025—meaning it has not yet reached six months in operation. Even so, it has already relocated its registered office to 13 rue du Clos du Verger in Saint-Martin-d’Auxigny.
Protect Bois is registered under legal code 5499, a structure that corresponds to a single-member limited liability company. Ferreira Garcia is listed as the manager, and the company’s declared headcount is not yet provided in the official registry.
A new base north of Bourges in the Cher department
Saint-Martin-d’Auxigny sits about 9 miles north of Bourges, the administrative center of the Cher department. Setting up in this rural community aligns with a local economy where small-scale trades and wood-related activity remain part of the area’s business fabric.
The move takes Protect Bois out of Saint-Doulchard—an adjacent municipality to Bourges—and into a more rural setting. The company is still listed as active in the official register.

The wood industry has seen sustained demand in recent years, driven by energy-efficiency renovations and the growth of bio-based building materials. Establishing a foothold in Cher within the company’s first months points to an effort to anchor quickly in a specific territory.
